Ceramic Slow Feeder Dog Bowl - Handmade Wheel Thrown Ceramic Stoneware Dog Bowl for Medium to Large Dogs

This Slow Feeder Dog Bowl is handmade of Stoneware Ceramic and is thrown intentionally heavy with thick walls for durability. I originally made these because my pitbull puppy would eat his food too fast and get sick, this helps him eat much slower. Once the bowl is bone dry, it was bisque fired to approximately 1915 degrees Fahrenheit, then glazed and fired a second time to approximately 2167 degrees Fahrenheit. The final result is a durable piece of functional art. Handmade items vary in size and shape making each piece one of a kind. This bowl weighs 3 pounds, 9 ounces, is approximately 8" inches in diameter and is 2.25" inches tall. This bowl is dishwasher safe, however as with all handmade items special care is needed. Washing by hand is recommended. Do not place ceramic over direct heat as it may cause it to crack. Thank you!
