These Smoke Grey Scoopers were originally made because I needed something to scoop my dogs' food into their bowls. These ceramic scoops are durable, and ready to take on your next task in the kitchen. They are wheel thrown, and altered. Once bone dry, they're bisque fired to approximately 1915 degrees Fahrenheit, then glazed and fired a second time to approximately 2167 degrees Fahrenheit. The final result is a durable piece of functional art. Handmade items vary in size and shape making each piece one of a kind. Each scoop weighs approximately 1 pound 1 ounce. They are 7.75" inches long. They can each hold a little more than a cup of dog food (depending on size of kibble). They are dishwasher and microwave safe, however as with all handmade items special care is needed. Washing by hand is recommended. Do not place ceramic over direct heat as it may cause it to crack.
