Modern Ceramic Stoneware Gray & 22 Karat Gold Incense Dish - Handmade Incense Holder

These Glossy Gray Incense Holder Dishes are wheel thrown, trimmed, and altered. Once bone dry, they are bisque fired to approximately 1915 degrees Fahrenheit, then glazed and refired to approximately 2167 degrees Fahrenheit. The Modern ball is hand painted with real 22 Karat Gold and fired to approximately 1252 degrees Fahrenheit. The final result of these firings is a durable piece of stoneware that is fused glass to ceramic. These are fully functional, and are made to use with stick incense and cone incense. Set your cone incense on the dish and allow it to burn slowly. Heat incense before placing on dish, do not use heat directly on dish or it may cause ceramic to crack or break.

Handmade items vary in size and shape making each piece one of a kind. These are not dishwasher safe as with any handmade items, special care is needed. I recommend washing by hand. Prolonged exposure to the dishwasher may cause the luster to rub off. When cleaning, try to keep anything abrasive away from the gold.

These weigh approximately 11-14 ounces, are 5-5.25" inches in diameter, and are 1.5" inches tall.
